Are you someone who feels emotions deeply, and can’t hide this?  Do you feel the suffering of others?  Have people told you,       ‘You’re just too sensitive, let it go!’If so, perhaps you are one of the 20% of humans who fit the sensitive temperament profile now accepted by mainstream psychology.

      Research shows that the brains of this 20% of Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) are different from those of other people.  Yet this is far from general knowledge yet.  It certainly hasn’t reached the average household.

      So, millions of HSPs have probably suffered a lifetime of hurts and criticisms from people around them, often including their families, because of their sensitive reactions.

The upside of being an HSP is extraordinary sensitivity to beauty and spirituality, and a desire to look after our planet. But years of being judged from a standpoint of ‘You take things too hard’ can result in HSPs believing that there must be something wrong with them.

      This can escalate into feeling alienated, overwhelmed, and withholding their talents.

      When HSPs decide to start healing their unresolved emotional pain and stresses, more and more are turning to the leading-edge Energy Psychology modality called Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT tapping. 

      This is an acupressure-and-mindfulness system that is both self help and practitioner-assisted.  More than 100 peer-reviewed clinical trials demonstrate EFT’s efficacy and unusual speed in defusing stress.
